The Women’s Way, a program of the United Way of Franklin County, is proud to host the 2nd annual United Way Day of Action. For the second year, volunteers of Women’s Way will be on the Greenfield Town Common to collect donations of oral health supplies including toothpaste, tooth brushes, mouth rinses and dental floss. The supplies will be packaged up into oral health care bags, and distributed to individuals and families through United Way’s Partner Agencies. Last year, Women’s Way distributed over 2,000 oral health care bags thanks to the support and donations of our community and area dental offices.
New this year, the Community Health Center of Franklin County will provide educational information, new patient registration, and free oral health services including; oral cancer screenings and fluoride treatments for children and adults. Services will be offered on a first come, first serve basis, and participants are asked to check in at the Greenfield Town Common 8:00 am-1:00 pm on June 17th.
To make a monetary contribution to have supplies purchased, please do so here or mail a check to United Way of Franklin County, 51 Davis St, Suite 2, Greenfield, MA 01031 with “Oral Health” in the memo line.
