2009-10: A Community United
Throughout this year's campaign, we have worked as "A Community United" to increase local giving in a time of great need. Our campaign currently faces shortfall of approximately $75,000 - meaning we're about 10% short of our $875,000 goal, the amount needed to sustain level funding of programs at our 23 partner agencies.
You can help by making a donation TODAY - and your donation will be matched up to $10,000 thanks to generous matching funds provided by hanning Bete Co., Florence Savings Bank, Toyota/Ford of Greenfield, Yankee Candle Co., and the United Way's Board of Directors and Incorporators.
There are many other ways you can participate too - not only by donating through work or directly to the United Way, but also by serving as a volunteer at one of our partner agencies, and by sharing the "Live United" message with your colleagues, friends, and family. The United Way of Franklin County makes sure your money is well spent. Volunteers visit agencies and see the programs in action. They make sure your money is invested wisely to best help our community. The money stays local: more than 99% of all dollars raised stays right here in Franklin County.
