2009 Auction

For 10 years now, the

United Way of Franklin

County's Art & Leisure

Auction has combined

the celebration of

creativity with the

generosity of giving to

those in need. Since

2000, thanks to

contributions of local

artists, businesses, and individual donors, nearly $130,000 has been

raised by this annual event to support our local community’s United Way agencies and programs.

This year's event, sponsored by Greenfield Savings Bank, will be held once again at Eaglebrook School in Deerfield. Starting at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21, works of art, leisure items, and gift baskets will be auctioned during an elegant evening of entertainment, hors d’oeuvres and desserts. Cost is $20 for advance reservations, $25 at the door. Call United Way at 413.772.2168 or info@uw-fc.org to reserve seats.

The action succeeds each year thanks to the generous donations of local artists, individuals, and businesses. You can call, e-mail, or download and fax/mail the appropriate form below to sponsor a table or make a donation of artwork, leisure items, or food for the event.

After Nov. 6, you can revisit this web page or the front window at Wilson's Department Store in downtown Greenfield to check out many of the items that have been donated and will be up for auction.
